5 hour lay-over in mexico city. we made two friends during our lay-over since they were connecting to buenos aires also. one of which was a believer! we decided to walk to the subway and walk to the center of mexico city. but on our way to the subway we found a mercado with tons of random mexico goodness! and for some reason, everyone wanted to give us things. alfanso's taco stand had us all try pig snout, pig kidney, some random leaf thing (all of which i semi-regretted later). then someone gave us this fuzy-spiky pink fruit thing. THEN on the way back.. some guy was holding bread, and our new friend andy asked where he got it.. so he took us to this shop and bought us all a slice. seriously? we got hooked up in mexico city!
then.. when we landed in buenos aires.. i got stopped by the cops! adventure.
buenos aires is amazing. it is called the "paris of latin america". and that couldn't be more true! we went out and explored with some of the girls we are living with around palermo. this place has tons of boutiques, shops, beautiful cobblestone streets.. etc.
i can't wait to see more of this beautiful city! and see what God has for me here!
